The Make A Change (MAC) Film Festival is part of a local movement to address the issues faced by young people and aims to celebrate the talents of young people while also bringing attention to important youth issues.
Videos submitted for this campaign should be a maximum of 5 minutes in length and should focus on an issue which you are passionate about, for example; homelessness, mental health, gender equality, LGBTIQ rights, teen pregnancy, drug & alcohol use etc.
All submitted films will be showcased at the Film Festival held during Victorian Youth Week on Friday 20th April 2018.
Videos should be originals works, created entirely by young people aged between 12-25 years old. People older than 25 years old may appear on screen. Any person under 18 years old who appears on screen must have a parent or guardian sign a release agreement on their behalf.
If participating in this project brings up any issues for you, please don’t hesitate to seek help.
