Local musos to shine at Loud @ the

Do you love music, believe in supporting locals and like eating pizza? Then don’t miss Loud @ Library next Friday, 23 March.

Kicking off at 7pm, the Swan Hill Regional Library will be transformed in to a musical arena as local youth showcase their talents.

Funded by FREEZA, Loud @ the Library continues to be a big hit, providing a platform for young bands and artists aged from 12 to 25 years to perform live in front of an audience.

Cultural Development and Libraries Manager Camille Cullinan said the event is open to everyone to come along and watch.

“Loud @ the Library is such a fantastic chance for local young artists to play their music for the community,” Ms Cullinan said.

“The power of music is pretty incredible. It can build confidence, provide an outlet for emotions, bring all different kinds of people together and ultimately, just be a lot of fun.

“And that’s why the library does and will continue to encourage young people to not only embrace their passion, but share it with the community as well.

“So we would love to see as many people there as possible, showing their support for the fabulous young musical talent we have in our region.”

Loud @ the library is proudly supported by Swan Hill Rural City Council, Youth Inc, Swan Hill Regional Library and FREEZA.

Entry is a gold coin donation and pizza and soft drink will also be available on the night.
