Be Ready is a Swan Hill Rural City Council (SHRCC) Youth Support Program for young people aged 16-25 who live, work or study in the Swan Hill Local Government Area.
Be Ready works with local training and education providers to run subsidized short courses such as Responsible Service of Alcohol training, First-Aid and CPR training, Food Handler courses and other short courses to prepare young people for employment.
Some courses such as RSA training requires young people to be 17 and 3/4 or above, so please keep this in mind when selecting what courses you are interested in.
Be Ready aims to run once a month in Swan Hill, Manangatang or Robinvale. This register will be used as a contact list for SHRCC Youth Support Program sothat they can get in touch with young people that express interest in a particular upskilling course.
Please contact youthinc@swanhill.vic.gov.au if you have any questions about the program or your own eligibility.
